Riley Gene is a Seattle based actor, director, burlesque performer, and producer. They are a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Original Works Theater. They have performed on stage with Seattle Shakespeare Company, Cornish College, The Core Ensemble, The Scratch and toured with Freehold’s Engaged Theatre Program. In 2015 they founded Runaway Stage Theatrics where they produced, performed, and were awarded Facebook’s “Local Community Action Grant" and helmed the company for three years. They directed the world premiere of Out in the Open at the Alhadeff Studio in the Seattle Center, at Cornish College, and assisted direction for Washington Ensemble Theatre's Feathers and Teeth. This summer they were a core producer for The Scratch where they acted in the new play Rushing by Danielle Mohlman. They currently work as the YPP Administrator for ACT Theatre.
